The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has arrested two men arriving from Delhi at Bhopal's Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) with 4.32 kg of MD drugs hidden in their bags and clothing.
Bhopal: In a significant anti-narcotics operation, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has intercepted two drug traffickers at the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Bhopal. The suspects, who had arrived in the city from Delhi via a bus service, were found in possession of a substantial quantity of illicit drugs.
According to the official report, the DEA officials recovered a total of 4.321 kilograms of Methamphetamine (MD) from the two individuals. The contraband was cleverly concealed to evade detection, with portions of the drugs hidden inside their travel bags and others tucked within their trousers.
This arrest highlights the continued use of public transport hubs, particularly the ISBT, as transit points for the movement of narcotics from the capital to central India. The DEA has taken both suspects into custody for further investigation into the source and intended destination of the consignment.
