The Election Commission of India has opened a window for Delhi residents to correct omissions in the draft electoral roll. Anyone whose name is absent must submit Form 6 before 25 November.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) released the draft electoral roll for the National Capital Territory of Delhi, inviting the public to verify their entries. Citizens who discover that their name is missing from the draft list are required to file a correction request using Form 6.
Form 6 can be submitted online through the ECI’s official portal or physically at designated Booth Level Officers (BLO) offices across Delhi. The deadline for filing these corrections is 25 November, after which the finalized roll will be published for the upcoming elections.
The ECI has urged eligible voters to check the draft list promptly to ensure their participation in the electoral process. Failure to submit Form 6 within the stipulated period may result in disenfranchisement in the forthcoming polls.
Voters can access the draft roll and download Form 6 from the commission’s website, where detailed instructions on the submission procedure are provided.
