Police in Rajasthan's Sultanpur have arrested two suspects from Delhi in a theft that involved over ₹70 lakh in gold, silver jewellery and cash from Shri Dev Jewellers.
The theft took place at Shri Dev Jewellers in Sultanpur, Rajasthan, where more than ₹70 lakh in gold and silver jewellery along with cash was stolen.
Investigations led to the identification of two suspects based in Delhi, who were apprehended by Rajasthan Police.
The suspects are believed to have orchestrated the theft and are now facing charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Authorities are reviewing security protocols at local jewellery shops to prevent similar incidents.
