On Sunday, 1 November, traffic on the Delhi‑Jaypur Expressway will be halted three times as authorities replace a 66‑kV transmission line cable.
The closures are scheduled to minimize disruption to commuters and are part of a routine maintenance program on the high‑voltage line that runs alongside the expressway.
Motorists are advised to plan for alternate routes and to allow extra travel time. Local traffic authorities have published detour maps and are monitoring the situation closely.
The work is expected to be completed within the day, after which normal traffic flow will resume.
