Chinmay Sutar adds a century after record 400 in Ranji Trophy

Chinmay Sutar, who made headlines with a monumental 400‑run innings in the Ranji Trophy, continued his prolific form by reaching a century in his subsequent match. The double‑century earlier in the season set a new benchmark in the competition, and his latest hundred reinforces his status as a leading run‑maker.

Sutar's back‑to‑back big scores have significantly bolstered his team's batting line‑up, providing stability at the top order. Analysts note that such consistency is rare in domestic cricket and could position him for higher honors.

The century came as part of a solid team total, with Sutar displaying a blend of patience and aggression. His ability to convert starts into massive scores is now a focal point for selectors monitoring talent for national duties.

While details of the opposition and venue remain unreported, the performance underscores Sutar's rising prominence in Indian cricket's domestic circuit.

If he maintains this trajectory, Sutar is likely to attract attention ahead of upcoming domestic and international selection windows.
