Cheetah Cub Shot Dead Outside Kuno National Park

Tragedy struck Project Cheetah on Tuesday when a 19-month-old male cheetah cub, identified as KNG22, was found dead outside Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. The cub, born in the wild, was part of the ongoing reintroduction program aimed at establishing a viable cheetah population in India. The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety of the endangered animals under the project. Authorities have launched separate investigations into the incident, with both the Centre and the Madhya Pradesh government taking swift action to determine the circumstances surrounding the cub's death.
