Global real‑estate firm CBRE has teamed up with Samarthanam and CABI to support blind cricket across India, offering infrastructure, coaching and financial aid.
CBRE, a leading global real‑estate services provider, announced a partnership with Samarthanam, a nonprofit dedicated to disability inclusion, and CABI, the governing body for blind cricket in India, to strengthen the sport across the country.
The collaboration aims to deliver essential infrastructure, coaching, and financial resources to blind cricketers nationwide. CBRE will contribute through its corporate social responsibility initiatives, offering office space and training facilities, while Samarthanam will focus on outreach and talent identification.
CABI will oversee the execution of training camps and national tournaments, ensuring that players receive professional coaching and competitive exposure. The partnership is expected to boost participation, improve performance standards, and raise the profile of blind cricket in India.
By aligning with India’s broader inclusive sports agenda, the alliance seeks to create sustainable pathways for visually impaired athletes to excel at both grassroots and elite levels.
