Bihar Digitizes Land Records: 1908 to 1995 Documents Now Online

The Bihar government has taken a significant step towards transparency and ease of access by digitizing millions of land records dating back to 1908. This initiative aims to make land records easily accessible to the public, eliminating the need for physical visits to government offices. Over 77 lakh documents have already been uploaded to a dedicated website, with the goal of digitizing a total of 5.15 crore records from 1908 to 1995. This move is expected to streamline land-related transactions and reduce the risk of fraud.
