A Bengaluru woman, who was struck by a minibus while crossing HMT Main Road on September 30, succumbed to her injuries a month later, prompting criticism of Greater Bangalore Authority traffic police coordination.

On September 30, a woman walking across HMT Main Road, which leads to Nasin Circle in Bengaluru, was hit by a minibus. The collision left her with serious injuries and she was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Despite medical intervention, the victim died a month later, on October 30, with her family attributing the fatal outcome to the severity of the injuries sustained in the crash.

The incident has drawn attention to the coordination between the Greater Bangalore Authority (GBA) traffic police and local traffic management agencies. Critics argue that delayed response and inadequate on‑site assistance may have contributed to the tragic result.

Authorities have not yet released a detailed investigation report, but senior police officials have said a review of emergency protocols is underway to prevent similar incidents in the future.
