Local filmmakers in Belleville plan to screen a vampire film produced nearly five decades ago.
Belleville’s independent film community is set to present a vampire movie that was originally made 48 years ago. The screening, highlighted by local broadcaster KMOV, brings a classic horror title back to contemporary audiences. Organisers say the film offers a glimpse into the genre’s early aesthetics and storytelling techniques.
While details about the venue and exact timing have not been disclosed, the event underscores the city’s ongoing interest in preserving and revisiting cinematic history. Film enthusiasts are expected to gather to experience a piece of horror cinema that predates modern special‑effects.
The initiative reflects a broader trend among regional filmmakers to revive forgotten works, providing both cultural value and a unique viewing experience for the community.
