Chief Minister Pema Khandu stated that border transgressions along the Line of Actual Control persist, but the situation in Arunachal Pradesh is currently under control.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh told reporters that incursions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) are a recurring occurrence and not a new development. He emphasized that despite these repeated transgressions, the security situation in the state remains normal and under firm control.
Khandu highlighted that the Indian Army and border forces are continuously monitoring the frontier and are prepared to respond to any escalation. He reassured the public that no major incidents have been reported in recent weeks and that routine patrols are maintaining vigilance.
The statement comes amid ongoing concerns about China‑India border tensions, but the CM's remarks suggest that the state government does not anticipate any immediate threat to civilian life or infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh.
