Ambedkar Vows Recitation Sparks Tension at Delhi SP Event

A recent event in Delhi organized by the Samajwadi Party (SP) has brought to light the challenges the party faces in balancing its appeal to both Dalit and Other Backward Class (OBC) voters. The recitation of Ambedkar's vows by Rajkumar Bhati, a prominent Dalit leader, sparked controversy and debate within the party. This incident reflects the complexities of the SP's strategy, which aims to revive the Lohiate policy of numerical aggregation to strengthen its political base. The party's efforts to unite these diverse communities face internal tensions and external pressures, as evidenced by the recent event in Delhi.
