AI‑Generated Video of Defence Minister Misrepresents India‑China Border Stance

A video circulating on social media claimed to show Defence Minister Rajnath Singh speaking about the India‑China border, suggesting he was downplaying the tensions. The clip was later identified as an AI‑generated deep‑fake, with no evidence of a real recording. Official statements from the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Minister’s office confirm that no such remarks were made. The incident highlights the growing risk of misinformation and urges users to verify sources before sharing.
