Three AAP MLAs have joined the BJP ahead of the upcoming elections, alleging that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has ruined Punjab.
A significant political shift has occurred in Punjab as three MLAs from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This defection comes at a critical juncture, just ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections.
The departing legislators cited dissatisfaction with the current state government as their primary reason for the move. In their statement, they leveled serious accusations against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, claiming that his leadership has led to the destruction of the state.
This political realignment adds a new dimension to the electoral race in Punjab. The entry of these senior AAP members into the BJP camp is expected to influence the political dynamics and voter sentiments in the state significantly.
The move highlights the intensifying rivalry between the two major political forces in Punjab as they prepare for the next phase of the electoral battle.
